Sorry for the composition of this image. I was so near this bird (only 2.1 meters!) that it filled-up the whole frame and I don't know how to crop it to make it more appealing. This is a female Downy Woodpecker, the smallest woodpecker in North America. The male has a red patch on the crown very much like our Philippine Pygmy Woodpecker. C&C is always welcome. Thanks TeLyds! This bird was so unwary, I was able to inch myself closer and not spook it. I guess you're right. This photo will fall under macro photography because of the distance. Ha, ha, ha. ;D
