Yes, I read that the new CS5 with that ACR 6.1 plug-in is a real juicy package. Alas, the cheapest Version (for Education) is selling at 449 USD! I wish they'd price it lower for hobby and enthusiast use. :-)

Thanks for sharing, Ka Mastah.

To my eyes, ACR did a better job in retaining detail, even in the shadows (inside of broken branch). In terms of NR, they appear to have performed at par with each other, though I see the ACR-converted image to have finer grains of noise (perhaps due to sharpening?).
