hi' the immature RKFP (from my last image captured) here must be very healthy and matured as the red keel is becoming prominent already (image #1). from the appearance of the feathers i could guess that the RKFP in the second image must be older than that of the first. am i correct? a male or female? d5000 + SigEnigma, 500mm, + TC1.4x, ISO 1000, 1/80s, f/9, tripod d5000 + SigEnigma, 500mm, + TC1.4x, ISO 800, 1/80s, f/8, tripod

Nice shots of the RKFP, Renoir! They must have been very far even with the 1.4x on your 500mm.

It is certainly very interesting to know and to see that the bird is staying in the same vicinity that you first saw it. It can only mean that he is comfortable with the environment. Kudos to you Renoir for keeping it that way. Mabuhay.

Nice RKFP shots Renoir.... detail seems ok even with a 1.4x TC!
