Was really trying hard to get at least a semblance of a BG but didn't get it this time. One more reason, to go birding again in Mt. Palay-palay, to get this micro-raptor in a better shooting condition some other time. ;D Philippine Falconet ( Microhierax erythrogenys) 5DM2 + 600 mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f8, 1/1000 sec., ISO 640, Tv priority +1 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support in available light. And, just noticed it now, the up to date, weather forecast window at the right side. Looks like it's pretty accurate as it is currently raining with thunder outside. ;D Thanks for this added source of info, Ka Mastah!!

Amazing feather details Neon. If only the light was even a little better, you'll have your chance again sooner or later.
