Here's an automatic photomerging I did in Adobe Photoshop CS5: Canon EOS 50D + 400mm EF f5.6... 1/250, f5.6, iso160, handheld Mt. Palay-palay, Maragondong, Cavite... July 24, 2010 It's actually a merging of 2 pictures done automatically. In one picture, the left dove is a bit blurred while the right one is okay, but in the other picture, the right bird is blurred but the left one is okay. No single picture is quite acceptable, so I tried automatically photomerging them in Adobe Photoshop CS5. And yes, photoshop merged only the sharp portions of the pictures, discarding the blurred birds. The end product is a seamless photo of merged ones. Here are the screenshots of the two lawyers showing the portions that were merged: I tried doing this in landscape shots where I used kit lens, and whoa... it produced as very wide angled landscape!
