Its good to see your post. Its been quiet here as the birds are getting hard to find or hiding more than before. If Costa Rica is just across like going to Hong Kong, you can bet that a lot of us will be going there. I like the naughty look of this bird. Well done Ariel. Mabuhay.

Nice capture, Ariel. If I would be allowed to modify your pic, I would try to separate the colorful bird from the distracting background by making the BG monochrome (gray).
Oftentimes we would get this kind of very colorful and nice picture only to be spoiled by a not so good BG, a distracting BG like this one.... So we can in some way do away with it by color separation.
Of course they are other ways of doing it. Color separation is just one of them.
But them again, this pic is not mine.

It is difficult to go out here as well because of the daily rains. Last week I went to Unibersidad La Paz but I got nothing good to post. Thanks for viewing. Cheers!

I will appreciate very much if you can show me the way how to do it. Let me know if you can do the modifications from the picture I post or if you need the file. I was looking at your profile and your email is not shown. Thanks a lot!

Hi Ariel! I tried separating the bird from the background and then convert the BG into grayscale in Photoshop, but alas the outcome is not really good. The original picture is still better. Cheers!
