Some birds at Olango have put on their best feathers for the mating season, but I got close only to these two, for now: Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres) EOS 40D; 400mm with 2X TC; Tripod with Gimbal head, 1/400@f/11, Manual Metering, ISO 400: I plan to go back there and catch some other species in breeding plumage. ;D

WOWWWW Nice capture Bobby !!!!! I'm dying to go to Cebu. Even my aunt is telling me that now is the time to go coz 2 of her friends, who just came from Olango, are saying that there are plenty of birds in Olango now.

Thanks guys - the Asian Dowitchers and Bar-tailed Godwits are slowly shedding their winter coats too. I could have gotten more photos were it not for a fisherman and his banca who just popped up and scared away the birds. Maybe next time. :-)
