the sun shines. It rained late in the afternoon at Frogs in UPD it was a bit dark already and the chicken started to fly up the trees to roost. When I was about to call it a day, just before the sun went down the western horizon it peeked for a second spotlighting a perched Pied Fantail. Finally after so many attempts I got a photo of this species that I liked, even if the ISO was 3200. ;D Pied Fantail ( Rhipidura javanica) - UPD, June 4, 2010 5DM2 + 600 L f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f8, 1/160 sec., ISO 3200, Tv priority, -1 EV, Tripod-gimbal support in available light, FF, NR on BG.

This picture is a masterpiece. I don't fancy taking a picture of a pied fantail mainly because it is common and not colorful. You were able to make a beauty out of it. Well done Neon. Mabuhay.

Thanks Guys!
After so many attempts to get a nice photo of this bird the moment came when my hands was on the locking mechanism of the tripod about to pull it when a pair of PFT were chasing each other and for a brief moment perched just right in front of me just beyond the MFD of the lens with a ray of sunlight spotlighting it, luckily the settings were spot on, I just clicked away, for this shot.

Well, what more can I say, they said it all. The bird is like a pied piper, you can't resist it. That's a fine way to end a day. telyds
