Wooohoo!! Followed Ka Mastah and Bobby in reviewing their HDD so I reviewed mine as well for some unique captures. What I thought before were Purple needle-tail were actually Brown-backed. I was looking for the distinguishing head lights of the PNT and could not find it in two shots that I made, yes, only two shots, thinking that it were PNT. Upon checking the KG PNT doesn't range in Palawan and BBNT only ranges there. Here are very long range documentary shots.. Brown-backed Needletail ( Hirundapus giganteus) - Iwahig Penal Colony, Balsahan, Puerto Princesa, Palawan, December 18, 2008. 40D + 600 L f4 IS, f 5.6, 1/2000 sec., ISO 400, Manual exposure in available light, Tripod-Gimbal support. For comparison, here's a PNT from Cainta, Rizal
