Congratulations on your lifer, Conrad! Great photo to boot!
It took me 4 years before I got my first Blue Jay (in Texas - I used to live in California where there are no Blue Jays).

I am not familiar with Blue Jay, but it looks like a beautiful bird from your picture. Congratulation on your lifer. Well done Conrad. Mabuhay.

Congratulations on your lifer, Conrad! Great photo to boot! It took me 4 years before I got my first Blue Jay (in Texas - I used to live in California where there are no Blue Jays). I've seen them before but never had a chance for a good shot but I did remember their call. When I heard it again, it was easier for me to track it's location. How I wish I have taken a video during it's call but I have my 7D for only 2 days and I'm still struggling with the video mode . I'm sure there always a second chance. Thanks for dropping by.

This is the icon of our professional baseball team (Toronto Blue Jays) so I consider this a small achievement on my part. ;D Thanks for the comments. Cheers

I pray the Blue Jays will do better next outing At any rate, I have always had a fondness for the Blue Jay, specially when it stands upright with its elegant looking crest. Kinda makes it look like royalty don't you think?

I just hope that the Jays will have a great season this year. They always had a great start but always falter at the end .
