In one of my birding trip, I saw this Yellow-vented Bulbul (Pycnonotus goiavier) eating the fruit of the Balete. The fruit is almost ripe but still yellow. When its ripe, it turns red and can be squeeze. Not be able to squeeze the fruit the bird swallowed it whole. Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, EF 800mm f5.6 IS L Lens, Manfrotto 475B Tripod, MF 373 Gimbal Head. All pictures taken at ISO 400, 1/160, f6.3

Wow ... another food-in-the-mouth shot from Sir ELy! You are not doing it so regularly sir that every shot is almost synonymous to your name.

Beautiful set Ely and very entertaining too. Always a pleasure to see birds doing something natural to them in their habitat.

Whoa!!! Great timing on this!!! Thank you Ariel. This is the result of having a camera capable of 10 frames per second. I don't think I could have done it with my 3.9 fps camera.

Beautiful set Ely and very entertaining too. Always a pleasure to see birds doing something natural to them in their habitat. Thank you Rey. I agree with you and it seems very natural for the birds because they are always looking for food.

Great documentation Ely and lovely job in focusing through the busy perch. The leaves look a bit too saturated for my taste but that's just me.

Very good sequence of shots on this documentation Ely! Thank you JV. I was able to see the Philippine Hawk Cuckoo at the Hundred Islands in Alaminos. Just like the bird in your place he was eating the some kind of worm but this time its taken from the ground. It brought back good memories of the time I went birding with you.
