Wow, it's been almost 8 months since my last photo posting. I definitely hibernate during the past winter . Two months ago I decided to changed my gear and bought a 50D and a 400mm f5.6 to pair with it. So far I am liking what I saw but still, so much to learn the new system. Last week, can't control myself and bought a used 1DM2 after reading how good this body for wildlife/BIF. Now I am in dilemma what body to keep. Pics 1 & 2 were taken using the 50D. Cormorant (f6.3, 1/1600s, ISO200 ) White Egret (f6.3, 1/2500s, ISO200) This was taken using 1DM2. I found that the 50D was struggling to get a decent focus on this fast flying, small red-winged blackbird. The 1D was able to lock on the focus without any problem. Red-winged Blackbird (f6.3, 1/1600s, ISO400) Thanks, Conrad
