Hi everyone! Its nice to come home. I chanced upon this forum when I looked at Romy's posting about gimbal heads. Ever since I saw Romy's photos on birds which was in 2004, he has basically "infected" or shall I rather say inspired me to photograph birds and wildlife. voltaireyap.smugmug.com/gallery/1820052_gffAH#91637427There are a lot more photos in my Animals gallery so enjoy and critique please. I'll be visiting end of May for three weeks so I hope to meet some of you and do some birding sorties together. Our home base will be Makati but plan to travel extensively around Luzon and visit relatives in Pampanga. Salamat at mahuhay! Congratulations Romy! Voltaire Yap

Thanks for the compliments, Bindi. btw, I was in Sydney in October '06 and visited Taronga Zoo and Featherdale Wildlife Refuge plus I took some photos at the Botannical Gardens. Also took photos of a juvenile kookabura in the Blue Mountains. :-)
I hope to visit other parts of Australia in the future.

Hi Reyno! Thanks for the welcome. I go to Orlando on business from time to time. I've been to Merritt Island Wildlife Refuge a couple of times. If my schedule would allow, I'll ping you so we can go birding together when I'm in town.
Thanks, Voltaire
