This bird is quite friendly. I remember the first time I saw it at Paralaya, Candaba. It was Romy who told me that this bird is quite approachable. Than I saw one in Coron and it was also approachable. This is the reason why he did not mind you taking his picture. Well done Renoir. Mabuhay.

hi ely, bobby and bob, thanks for the impressions. i noticed that sharpness quality in several images would differ even using the same shutter speed to capture for the same image/condition. i thought that the "kick" of the mirror (that may be faster than the shutter speed) could create some shakes thus affected the sharpness of the image. may i know the approximate/range of speed of the mirror kick in corresponding to shutter speed used.

hi romy' yes i did some reduction of brightness (25-50) and increased the contrast by 10. i may have overdone. thanks observations.

hi jv' thanks observation. yes i did some brightness reduction (first time to try reducing) and may be overdone. i guess i don't need reduction in my next processing.

i loved the sounds can make of this guys,,,,or should i say i love the music coming from this guys!! high pitch but still the softness and sweetnes of the music still there,,,,i always see this guys in my uncles ricefield..every morning before the sun rise up and every afternoon before the sun comes down....what time did you taked a shot this sir?nice keep it up

hi' thanks viewing the images. yes you are right' early morning and after 3pm i can already see a pair of PP on the ground. i captured these images around 6:30am.
