The Philippine Woodpecker (Dendrocopos maculatus) is a species of bird in the Picidae family. It is endemic to the Philippines. The Philippine Woodpecker is commonly known in Kapampangan as Anluage. Great pic Pao. I think its not greedy. It just takes lots of food to power a bird. I think they eat almost half their weight in food every day. Some birds can eat their own weight it one day. Hence the poop. Hehe.

Most probably this bird has been feeding some young bird somewhere. This quite illustrative of parent birds during seasons like this one now. Congratulations!
