Wow! great job on this one Ely. The wild mushrooms gives the photo more character Thank you JP. With so many trees to choose from this bird decides to make a nest where there are constantly a lot of people around the area. Its kinda difficult to be taking pictures where there are a lot of curious on lookers. But we go where the birds go.

Very vice Ely, good job with the high ISO exposure. Thank you Rey. One thing I noticed with the 1D is that it handles noise better than the 5D.

Outstanding capture at a very high ISO, Ely. I sometimes play golf at Wack Wack and I see a lot of birds there, specially at the East course.

Lovely captures, Ely..... agree with JP, the mushrooms are a big plus in the photos! Thank you Romy. This kind of mushrooms usuall grow on dead branches. It is not edible and also would not like to disturb the bird.

Although there are lots of birds, there are seldom anything special like this Barbet. I am not a competitive golfer anymore, I just play for the fun and exercise.

Wonderful pictures, Ely! I'm truly impressed with its sorrounding background and the low noise. Thank you Ariel. I am learning how to make use of the background nowadays whenever possible. There are as much people who like to see the environment as those who like to see them up close.
