I just knew that it won't be long before Wency gets bitten by the birding bug. Just like my Cynthia - before she just tags along, but now she's taking better pictures (sometimes ;D ) than I do. Congrats, Wency, and welcome to the birdnut club.

Thanks a lot guys !!!!!!! Wency does not know that I posted his shots - HAHAhAHahAHahHAHahAHa wait till he reads your comments I'm so sure he'll get kilig. My internet was down last night and was dying to read what you thought of Wency's captures so decided to wake up at this time to try my luck with my connection and YIPEEEEEEEEEE am I glad I went on line coz I will be able to tell Wency about all your comments when he wakes up later Actually, I saw the hornbills perch at a tree on Wency's side of the car so I handed him the other camera and asked if he can take pictures since I won't be able to from my side coz if I go down the car they might all fly away so he said yes and TANAN - what wonderful captures indeed !!! Thanks again so much guys

Exquisite shot Wency...so Tina, aren't you worried that you might lose your excellent spotter? I must say though, it should be very fun to watch two sigmonsters sticking out on the left and right side of the car hehe.

Thanks a lot Ding, Nestor and Jagey You guys are funny !!!! If Wency starts reading the manual of the camera - that's when I will know for sure na he's interested na talaga ;D Jagey: losing an excellent spotter ? no, no, no coz if he becomes interested in photography, he will surely be looking for the birds more so that he can take their photos <-- yipeeeeee !!!

great shots indeed! pero mas magaling pa din si tina.... kasi naconvince na nya si wency mag-shoot. para next time, mas madali na ang camera-lens funds!!! hahaha!!!! (joke!!!) i remember tuloy a recent discovery channel featuring a french pair (mr and missus) in a photo safari where they camped out in the middle of the safari in their land rover. they were both camera wielding buds, one with a tele and one with a short zoome/wide. with that combo, they were able to nail the whole action! i'm imagining wency and tina's tandem sometime in the near future doing the same. birds beware!!!!

@wency Wow, way to go Wency. Can't believe these are first time photos. @idol Tina So, that's the way to do it, pretty smart way of making an instant "convert". Just joking

Wency has read all of your comments and asked me to say THANK YOU SO MUCH to those who commented on his photos.
Thank you Manny, Rey, Reyno and Bindi <-- he hasn't seen your comments yet but will show it to him tonight.
Manny : I saw the Nat Geo couple too. I don't think I want to sleep out there for fear of the lions eating us to death during the night !!! HEHEhHEhehEHheHEHehE
He's super kilig (hmmm what's the english word for kilig?). You guys should have seen his smile - all the way up to the ears ;D

"Tickled pink", Tina. It happens when one is delighted the face turns red/pink. The delightful feeling is a happy feeling.
Having jitters is when lahat ng kasama mo are batikan in bird photography and someone like Wency, pa relax-relax lang suddenly comes into the picture.. ehe, suddenly comes with a picture, hornbill pa! Then Manny suddenly gets his share of jitters. Ako inggit stage pa lang. Forever inggit. Ahi-hi.
Sorry about yesterday Manny. With a vast area, I could not decide whether to follow you guys or scout on my own. Then my brother texted that it was my father's death anniversary. Omigosh, I forgot. I exited via old Canlubang (passed by a short bad road) but found a good birding area along the way, got some kaimitos from boys climbing the old tree in front of our former house. Haay, nostalgic.
