Here's another lifer that made my sortie very rewarding. Sorry for the quality of the shots. They were taken past 5:30 pm and I can't get close to the subject. Canon 5D MarkII, Canon 500mm F/4 + Canon 1.4X TC, Tripod mounted with wired remote Subject distance - 17.5m, FL 700mm, ISO 3200, 1/80 sec. @ f/5.6, Spot metering Subject distance - 17.5m, FL 700mm, ISO 4000, 1/80 sec. @ f/5.6, Spot metering Subject distance - 17.5m, FL 700mm, ISO 3200, 1/60 sec. @ f/6.3, Spot metering

This bird is new to me and I did not get to see a single one. I saw several Black-naped Monarch and its nothing like that. Congratulations. Well done Bong. Mabuhay.

Thanks Ely! Too bad you did not see it. I was hoping that you'll get a better shot of this bird. I only saw it in the afternoon when I arrived. This is the first bird I got followed by the RKF. At least you'll have another reason to return to Coron!

I missed this one. Beautiful set Bong, it's hard to get this birds as they always stay in the dark. They are one of my favorite birds in Coron. Big congrats, very fine work buddy.
