I went to Nug-as with Osawa, and got me some nice birds, but the Whistler photos I got were better this time. All shots were talen with the EOS 450D and the Sigma 150-500 OS lens: TV:0.125 sec; f/10.0; 500 mm; ISO:800; +1/3 EV And some others: Mangrove Blue Flycatcher: Handsome Sunbird Male: Handsome Sunbird Female: Male Pied Buschat: Female Pied Buschat: Hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did taking them! :-)

1/25 seconds? 450D? I cannot believe it. I think your series is going to set a new trend, especially with the 550D around. Congratulations!

All very nice photos. It looks like you were very close. The two pictures I like best are the Mangrove Blue Flycatcher and the Handsome Sunbird Male. Nothing beats a colorful bird. Truly a job well done Bobby. Mabuhay.

As for the Cebu Flowerpecker, last time I saw it was 2 years ago, with Pedro, our guide - I have a nagging that species has finally transcended it's physical form. :-)
