I went to Candaba yesterday to try to get a good glimpse of the Green-winged Teal, but light rain didn't stop falling the whole afternoon. Here's a couple of consolation captures: 1. Common Moorhen, 40D + 500 f4 L IS + Canon 1.4x TC, bean bag, EXIF intact2. Little Egret , 1DM2 + 100-400 IS, hand held, EXIF intactRomy

Excellent captures as always Romy inspite of the weather condition. My favorite is the Egret though because of the colors - the white, skyblue and green all come out so beautifully together

Thanks folks for the comments. nices shots Buddy, wish I was there.. 4 F here yesterday, and 15 mph winds.. frosty out there!! Buddy, I birded at the Cordilleras recently (7k feet ASL) and the temp fell to 3 degrees Celsius (about 37.4 F), plus gusts of wind. If I felt I was in deep freeze in the Cordilleras, I can imagine how cold 4 F is!
