I was there too!!! JP comes late afternoon... drives around to greet the birdnuts scattered in different spots in Candaba... picks a place... sets up... tells birding stories in between shots... walks to the car to get the field manual... suspects he got lucky... confirms he got lucky...

Thank you for all the comments guys. I was really lucky to get this got on my first few bursts when i arrived at the place. After reviewing my photos from my 6 day birding sortie with Con Foley, i shot the same species in Lake Malassi as well in Isabela.
