I saw a video of this bird on the internet. It has a fast wagging tail ala yellow or grey wagtail. Seems you got it inbetween wags. Superb detail. Wow. Is this near Mt. Polis?

thank you guys. Con and I saw the female on the second day of our trip. We got off a few shots but were not happy with our photos. I slept that night thinking about going back to the place and try getting a second chance. To our amazement, we saw a pair of these. 2 hours of mountain driving and back tracking was well worth it
