Just wondering how it feels to be carrying two pounds of rice on top of your camera. But the effort is worth it. Very up close and personal. Well done Toto. Mabuhay.

The 2 pound "rice" bag, despite hurting my ankles, really helped during sorties. It stabilizes my rig fast so I get less shake when shooting

I like the ZC. I wonder what the dark background is. It managed to isolate the bird and the perch as well.
And thanks for the rice bag tip. Pareho pa tayo nang kulay. I would probably just change it as the nylon material on the one I use could damage the lens' finish.
