Those are all terrific shots Ed! The 1DMk2n can still give even the most modern SLR's a tough run for the money! :-)

Daghang thank you, Bay! Is your 1D2 fixed already?

Well, Canon sent it back saying they fixed it, but not really. I think the problem has something to do with the shutter. I'm thinking of sending it to Canon Hongkong, and see if they can fix it there. :-)

I like the additional pictures you posted of the owls that I saw just now. That's about 15 pounds that you handheld to take these pictures. It must be wonderful to live in a place like that with so many kinds of birds. Well done Ed. Mabuhay.

Thanks a lot Jun! Hey, where you've been? If I not mistaken, your last post was last October. Was there recession on birds too?

thanks for noticing. true I haven't gone out in a long time. I'm too distracted with work. Yun lang ang recession. I lost my job in Vancouver but lucky for me I did not have to look too hard for a new one. I found one in Red Deer, AB. I can't believe there's a lot of Filipinos in AB especially central Alberta. Small towns like Olds, Rimbey, Lacombe, etc.
at the moment I am using a 10 inch netbook so it's hard to process photos. But your comment inspire me to go out and shoot today :-p even if it's snowing ....lol
Keep on shooting

We should have meet if I accept the job offer in Red Deer but unfortunately my family wouldn't want to move in to a new location. My EI's extended for another half year. -14 degrees C (windchill) at that...tsk..tsk..you're a real certified birdnut. Be safe out there.
