This should be the last bird from our trip. Its more of a documentary shot as I did not get a good chance for a better picture. I believe its a Green-Backed Whistler, Pachycephala albiventis . Probably the albiventis race of northern Luzon. Its not the best art shot at all but maybe it may help others for reference purposes. I saw these two in Sagada in different locations. Its supposed to be a common endemic. Maybe it is common because I saw it twice, but it sure does not hang around for pictures. Canon 5d mk2, 500mm, 1.4x tc I took this other bird in another location and it shows another view. Canon 5d mk2, 500mm, 1.4x tc, tripod ISO 1250, 1/40, f5.6 tripod- semi foggy at 6:59am

Hi Tonji, Congrats on the lifer. I think I saw it also last year at Banawe, Mt Polis, also I heard it whistle and with the green-backed - green-backed whistler sya di ba. As it stays behind the branches and keeps moving I can understand the difficulty of taking a photo. Here is the link to my pic -also documentary www.flickr.com/photos/slrpixels/3437926329/sizes/m/in/photostream/for comparason. Cheers, Chito

Edu, thanks too bad both shots are so backlit.
Doc, your pic is really nice. I hope to get a better chance at this bird one day.
I hope the pics can help those going to the Mt. Province. I just got a call from JP, he is in Sagada and from the sounds of it he has some super photos already on just his first day.
