This one really made us very excited during the trip to La Mesa Dam. These birds are so huge! Great shot. I normally wait to be invited but this time I am asking who would like to invite me to La Mesa Dam, free snacks and Tarragon tea. I need at least one good and beautiful raptor. Well done Glenn. Mabuhay.

Amazing shot on the "mature" eagle and i love the demure-look of the immature eagle. All I got was a blue foreground (roof of the boat) and lots of twigs. Hope we get to got back again.

I will be coming with you. Dec24 is ok for me! You're invited, Ely. We can organize another sortie of 4 persons (which looks like the max comfortable number in a boat). But it'll probably be after the holidays. My calendar's pretty much booked solid the next two weeks. If something looks like it'll clear up, will let you know. But you probably won't be able to use your howitzer, though. I use a much shorter 400mm with 1.4x TC yet I already waste most shots due to boat shake.

I am sure you got lots of unprocessed natgeo shot in there waiting to be shared to everyone! I will be coming with you. Dec24 is ok for me! Me too! nice photos sir toto! do you already have the identity of the other raptor taken earlier? Thanks bert! I had a hard time researching the ID of that raptor. I am currently on mobile/wireless so uploading the photos for ID are quite of job. But I suspect that that raptor was an immature Peregrine Falcon. Ely, call up Ding, he's the one who can bring us in La Mesa! I will be coming with you. Dec24 is ok for me! You're invited, Ely. I brought my tripod during the trip but I find it hard to use it since most shots taken were mostly 90%+ BIFs. I opted to shoot handheld during the trip.
