Phil Eagle at Mabuhay Magazine

Saw this sometime back but never got around to pursuing it.

In the October issue of PAL's Mabuhay Magazine (p78) is an article about Malagos Resort in Davao. with a large photo off a flying bird.

Note that the inset caption (2nd photo) labels the bird as the Philippine Eagle. Is it?

Hehe.... inaccurate bird ID is typical of most local mags and even broadsheets. Some years ago, I wrote one broadsheet about their incorrect use of the word cement when they mean concrete. They published the letter, but I still find that they use the incorrect term once in a while.
