As mentioned by Tina, We went to Palaypalay and Caylabne last week looking for the B&W flycatcher which unfortunately did not make an appearance (3rd time was not a charm). Here are some of the consolation images I got from my lowly 300mm lang. Philippine Falconet- Philippine Endemic, a favorite bird. Canon 1dMk2 canon Canon 300mm F4 IS 2x TC Iso 320 F11 1/200 handheld. Blue Rock Thrush male - Common Migrant same camera lens i/60 F8 iso 500 handheld A perching Brahminy Kite- Resident common F7.1 1/50 iso 500 handheld Cheers Chito

At least you got that fantastic super near in your face brahminy kite and the male BRT - I was way too slow because of the weight of the 500mm. My favorite is the Brahminy Kite too

Nice set, Doc Chito. Poor statue, it's had a good share of bird markings.

Nice captures, Chito..... I wouldn't wish to be reincarnated as a statue in my next life.

Exceptional picture of the BK. You have the stealth of a lion on a prey. Well done Chito. Mabuhay.
