beautiful neon! ETS are actually beautiful birds. had they been rare, they should come out as one of those with beautiful feather patterns.

Nice one Neon. Nice pose here. 2x TC plus flash and you still get the nice BG and the light looks very natural. I usually don't take the little ETS guys because I always figure I can take them anytime I want. I think I should pay more attention to them in the future. Please allow me to add my last ETS pic here even if it was not in UPD. I was in Alabang and I just got my new glass when I took this shot of this young ETS. I was experimenting with different settings to see the effects. Eurasian Tree SparrowCanon 50D, Canon 500mm, ISO 500, 1/250, f7.1, tripod

Neon: Looks like your getting the hang of being a flash shooter. What more when you start using your better beamer.
Tonj: Love the Bokeh and detail on this ETS. The ETS is my favorite Non-Bird Bird.

WOW!! Can I join? The ETS is so well adapted to the city that it is hard to catch it on a natural perch. And can I make a request too? I know Mastah has an ETS BIF lying around somewhere..

I have some ETS but my computer broke down and I am just using a borrowed one so I will not be able to participate. More important is your picture which has shows that an ETS even if it is common is still a beautiful bird. Well done Neon. Mabuhay.
