Taken last night when Jupiter was at its brightest at magnitude -2.9. They said it hasn't shone this brightly since Oct '99.

Haha! that has cool ring to it, mastah romy! i'm honored! how are the skies over there? last night had high clouds so i had to shoot intermittently when the planet would peek for a maximum of 10 mins at a time. i just realized, it's tonight where it's at it's brightest as the astro calendar is in north american time. so we have another shot at this! let's get those lenses an exercise guys!
