Alain and I finally got our lenses last Friday and set up a Saturday morning sortie (with Toto) to debut our glasses. But Santi foiled our plans, so I decided to go to Laguna with the girlfriend to visit her family, still hoping the weather will permit me to take my lens out to its first sally. Thankfully, the weather cooperated, and I got to shoot our avian friends after two long months of waiting. Not rarities as the other members of the gang have, but these fellas somehow lesssened the itch. Thanks a lot, guys. It was worth the wait. Now I have to learn how to tame this glass and improve my handholding skills.
