Hi Guys,
Has anyone noticed the thousand of swallows, (I think they are swallows) perched on the electric lines in front of Star Mall, parallel to the SLEX Alabang flyover. There's about a thousand of them neatly perched, same phenomenon as last year. Why they choose a busy spot bogles my mind. I looked at the surrounding areas and there are so many other electric lines available for them to perch more peaceful and safe. Going up the bridge, the lane narrows with barricade and one can put on the hazard lights and park. It would be good to night shoot... also interview one migrant ... please ask why they love to perch there?
Cheerps, telyds

Cafeteria is open 24 hours...hehehehe
With the lights open on the big billboards insects are drawn to the bright light. Take a look in front of the billboard you can see them flying at any time of the night. I don't know really if this is the case but this is one possibility. ;D

Please post your pictures when you get to photograph them. That will be a sight to see. I wake up early so you won't see me there at night. Heh heh.

I think the Sogo motel there would make an excellent blind. BTW I was approached by a person helping in publishing a book about the city of Muntinlupa and they're asking if we could contribute bird photos for their book. Let me know if you're interested.
