Thank goodness for Pied Bushchats! We went all the way to Tarlac a few days ago but the birds there were few and uncooperative. We ended up spending a lot of time on the Pied Bushchats that were posing nicely. Do you think the storm hanging around in the Northern vicinity has something to do with the birds seeking safer sanctuary elsewhere? The pair of Pied Bushchats are looking very good. Your new lens is certainly a winner. Well done Sylvia. Mabuhay.

Currently number 2 on my hitlist.. the bushcats are one of my favorite birds to look at. And pics like these really bring out their beauty.
I love the second one the best, it looks like it is singing.

The review for this lens were spot on!! " Sharpest lens ever built"!! You were able to handle this baby quit well - Sylvia!! I won't be surprised if Tonji asked to swap lens sometime. ;D The most detailed and well exposed male PBC I've ever set my eyes on. Surely that's you car and the road in its eyes!! Awesome!! That ISO is only possible in my dreams with my rig!!

Awww Neon, thank you!! Really, really nice of you to say that! Thank you Ely and Edu! Ely -- my theory is that the birds were all at the evacuation center.
