Hello birdnuts, I'd like to ask about your experiences with Phottix Titan batteries, in particular, the model equivalent to Canon's BP511A. I've seen these being sold at around PhP800 and I was wondering if they're a good buy. For the price of an original Canon battery, I can get 3 or 4 of these batteries. Thanks a lot!

I've bought generic BP511A for my 10d, 40d and 5d from Quiapo and CD-R King before with little ill effect. Do note though that if the generic battery was the cause of a malfunction Canon will not warranty your camera. Back then I remember they were selling it for P400

Thanks for the inputs, guys. Alain: Those are indeed cheap -- 2 pieces for ~USD 10. It'd be interesting to see how they perform.
