Was supposed to go to Tarlac today but an all night drinking sortie with Marts made me cancel todays' birding trip. I ended up sleeping at Martins' place and we post processed some of my files in my hd today. A few months back Martin started processing his photos using Nikon's Capture NX software. I started a few weeks back and Martin showed me how faithfully it can reproduce the colors i see on my cameras' lcd. Now photoshop in my pc is limited to watermark placement on my photos. Here's what we processed today, taken last year. Philippine Duck - Nikon D300 + Nikkor 500mm f4 VR + 1.4tcEII; f6.3, ISO800, 1/1250 @ 700mm, beanbag

This is just great JP, colors look so natural. The water droplets adds a lot to the beauty of this image.

A very nice capture JP, as if the image is alive! I'm convinced too that Capture NX/NX2 is a better raw converter for NEF files. Upgrade to NX2, the control points and color selection are such a joy to use. I have CS4, for other PP tasks that NX2 can't do.

Excellent action shot JP, with nice bird details. Looks natural although my taste would tend towards adding bit more saturation/contrast ,just a personal taste. Very nice work again on capturing the action!
