After the awful the typhoons and all the problems it was nice of Tina, JP and Martin to invite Sylvia and I to go birding with them. Its really nice to be concentrating on birds and having that peaceful vibe that comes from trying to capture a bird in a photo. I literally lost track of time (cause I don't wear a watch) and just enjoyed the day. I was also very eager to try out my new lens as this was the first time I was going to use it. Red-keeled Flowerpecker, endemic50D, 500mm, ISO 400, 1/320, f4.5, tripod ISO 400, 1/160, f4 ISO 400, 1/160, f4 Common KingfisherISO 160, 1/320, f4 As we were going back home the stilts decided to do a good bye flight for us. It was getting dark but I decided to try to pan and get a shot despite the late hour. Black Winged StiltISO 800, 1/640, f4.5 A great birding day. Thanks to Tina, Martin, JP and Sylvia.

Thanks Paollo, Alain, Tina, Toto, Neon, Prop and Ariel.
I really am excited to try my new glass on more birds. So many things to learn. I think I will go to birding tomorrow, before the storm comes in.
