JP, Martin, Sylvia, Tonji and I decided to go birding yesterday and meet up at around 6 a.m. The weather was really lousy so we cancelled the trip. At around 9 a.m the skies were clearing up so we all decided to push through with it. I was so tamad compared to the other guys and was so impatient and kept transferring locations - serves me right coz they were able to take fantastic photos and mine are just so so Note to self: STAY put and be patient !!! The best part for me was... Having lunch and dinner with the guys and enjoying their company. Thank you JP, Martin, Sylvia and Tonji Looking forward to the next one. So so? These are fantastic photos, idol Tins! The brush cuckoo is awesome despite the unnatural perch. Congratulations on your new toy.

Thanks Mark & Toto ;D That brush cuckoo was so near us. JP was the one who saw it and called us. The picture below is the full frame version - no cropping whatsoever - it was really right IN FRONT of us. I had to change the position of my camera in order to get a better composition coz in most of the shots, the tail was cut off. Brush Cuckoo

Thanks everyone! Just to clarify, I'm not part of the 500 Club yet. The lens was JP's. I'm still working my membership with the club. Tina...for sure we have to go back! Hopefully the weather cooperates next time.
