After months and months of not being able to go out to take photos of birds due to health issues.... FINALLY the most awaited outing came. (unlucky though that the weather was uncooperative but hey, if you were in my position - wouldn't you shoot just about any bird that you see? HehEhehE In all my years of being into bird photography, I think this is the first time ever I have seen this bird on a wire. I normally see them perched on branches/tree trunks. I guess with all the trees being cut everywhere, they are learning to adopt to whatever is around them. Tarictic HornbillPut your left foot out and shake it all about Hmmm... why is that woman taking so many pictures of me Might as well give you a good angle of me 40D + EF 400mm f/5.6L ; f/8 ; ISO 500 ; 1/320 ; hand held please click here to see all the photos

Wonderful and funny series Idol Tins. The first photo is so puzzling, can't figure it out up to now. Anyway, it's so nice to see you back shooting again. I'm looking forward to more of your excellent photographs including the one's with the new upcoming 5 F4. ;D

Your pictures on the 400 are among the best. I can imagine what you can do with a 500. Welcome back to the wonderful world of birds. Well done Tina. Mabuhay.
