Thanks Toto for sharing. I can now at least imagine the place where you guys go birding. Do you shoot only from the road, or do you hike any further?

Hi Teddy, thanks for viewing. I've been here only thrice and it seems roadside birding is quite good here especially for those with short lenses like me. However, the place is ideal for those with lenses greater than 400mm as some birds tend to keep their distance from the road but are within a good shooting distance.
The whole stretch which goes for several kilometers have similar terrain. As Neon mentioned somewhere else, light can be good here all day as the road stretches from east to west. Based on the first photo, Mount Arayat (as shown in the 3rd photo) is on your left.
The area gets flooded often and I think it is best to bird out there if Paralaya is moderately flooded.
One needs to bring plenty of water on a hot day. I was able to consume 5 liters during my last outing as there is no shade out there to escape the Sun's searing heat.
