The bird has very nice colors. Sometimes we wish the bird would move more so that we could catch the light hitting the face of the bird. But a picture captured is always better than nothing. Nice shot Ariel. Mabuhay.

No. The ID is incorrect.
Might I suggest this book: "Birds of Costa Rica", Garrigues & Dean. A volume to which I myself contributed to.
This is an adult male Euphonia hirundinacea (Yellow-throated Euphonia).
The Yellow-crowned Euphonia has a blue throat, and the yellow on the head extends from the forehead to the forenape. Here it is limited only to the forehead.
