After so many tries, I finally took the shot of the American Goldfinch that I'm really satisfied ;D. These birds are camera shy and very sensitive so taking a shot at close distance is a challenge. It took a lot of crawling and hiding on the bushes just to nailed these shots. Thanks for viewing and comments are always welcome. Photos taken with pentax K10D + sigma 100-300/F4 + sigma 1.4x TC f6.3, 1/320s, ISO160, 300mm f6.3, 1/320s, ISO160, 300mm f6.3, 1/320s, ISO160, 300mm Cheers, Conrad

You must be having a gourmet of satisfaction after enduring all the difficulties to get a good capture of this bird. The bird is a beauty and your pictures are worth all the effort. Well done Conrado. Mabuhay.

Terrific shots, Conrad, especially the first one. I agree that it so hard to photograph these guys. As a matter of fact I don't have a good shot yet of one in full breeding plumage such as yours. Good job and well worth all the stalking
