Hi guys, Supermom a Premium Seller from Pipho is willing to give the Kenko Pro DG300 (1.4X or 2.X) at PHP 6,500.00 for a minimum order of two units. She can deliver this coming Friday.
That's not a bad price considering the hassle of getting it from ebay or Hongkong. She's the one mentioned by Raffy who can bring in a 100-400 for 60K something.
I'm getting one, anyone else interested? Please let me know asap.

That's an excellent price, Ray. It's quoted at B&H at USD 179, or roughly PHP 7.5K at current forex rates. TCs have no moving parts (except the mount release button) and I rarely hear of a bad copy. Hence I won't hesitate to recommend a grey market one if the price is attractive. Yes, that's true but I know she can get it at a much lower cost in HK. At any rate, it's a steal for PHP 6,500.00 and consider the lead time which is just a few days.

I got my Kenko 1.4X from her last year for 7.5k, so that is a good price. Yes, that's true but I know she can get it at a much lower cost in HK. At any rate, it's a steal for PHP 6,500.00 and consider the lead time which is just a few days.

Sir Rey, I'm interested with TC all in sudden after my first birding macro ;D www.flickr.com/photos/mmncrpz/sets/72157604282954192/Budgetary wise, this is the most feasible addition to my lens at the moment. How will it affect my 70-200? I realized its very hard to photograph a bird in flight!

What great timing! I lost mine somewhere. Can you get one for me too? I have to pay thru the bank though. Is it too much of a bother, Sir Rey? :-)

I don't think it will work well with the 70-200 more so if you plan to use it for BIF's. @bobby K There's a store in Hidalgo that offered me the Kenko 2X at PHP5,800.00 when I bought a lens from them a month ago. I know that they also ship and accept bank payments. I'll get more details and I will PM you later.

Hi Guys!
Let me try to revive this thread by asking how to contact Supermom. I've searched for her in Pipho to no avail. If anyone has her contact info, can you post it here or sms it to 0920-9075733.
Salamat!
Ivan
