These shots are all blurred but interesting because of the birds' behavior. First, these two White-throated Kingfishers perched on a wire, then one flew down to pick up a worm. Then the "wormed" bird passed on the treat to the other. They both look like adults so...could this be love?
Walking down the street, saw this Barred Rail come out from the grasses to the left and walked to the middle of the street, stopped and looked around. Then five other Barred Rails crossed the street while the first one just stood guard in the middle. Only after all the other birds crossed did this bird complete his/her crossing!

If birds can do this why can't we humans do the same. These pictures are good sources of lessons for other who are not

Nice set Ding and as always the anecdotal accompaniment is always amusing. I wish there will be more postings with a little story to tell about the subject.

so nice!!!!! sweet moments!
OT There is a theory on why kissing is such an intimate practice. It is believed that humans copied the action of mommy birds feeding chicks, lovebirds with that thing they do with their beaks and other birds who displayed such 'intimate kissing' behavior.
