Sir Bobby K. noticed that this photo is lighter/overexposed than it should be. Please do let me know how this photo is rendered in your monitor so appropriate adjustments can be made at my end. Thanks in advance for the feedback.

This is something that I have noticed with the 40D - the metering is easily thrown off in high-contrast scenes. I have resorted to using the spot metering or averaging mode in most of my shots. Even then, I prefer shooting in Manual Mode for critical conditions and manually check my expsosure to be sure I'm within range.

Wow, that bad? Hmmm... Thanks for the feedback guys. Hi Nilo, In my LCD monitor the photo looks overexposed by at least two stops I noticed my 40D shots were over exposed when I center the light meter value. I'm using spot metering. I stop down 1 up to 2 stops to get a good exposure. Just my 2 cents. Cheers, Neon
