From my BK Valley file. I was walking down the road shooting butterflies when the mountain kids pointed to these birds. They were a bit far but here's a docu. shot. A lifer for me. lyd

I always enjoy looking at Munia pics. I also just saw these last week when we were in Palawan. Congrats on the lifer! That would have been a killer pose if you were closer. Thanks for sharing.

The little fellas are much more difficult to find than even the Java Sparrow, congrats on the lifer TeLyds!

Ding, I'd be contented, too, if I get the opportunity to spend the remaining days of my life in BK Valley. You've got to go and see. Where there is pure water and clean fresh air is the place to be. Every nature lover's kind of place. It's so close to Manila. Just PM me when you are ready to go. telyds
