I primarily shot HD video footages in this sortie to my favorite enchanted mountain, but a Spotted Wood-Kingfisher perched quietly in a dark spot gave me an opportunity to squeeze in a photograph. This is a tough WB job even if shot in RAW. ;D Spotted Wood-kingfisher ( Actenoides lindsayi, a Philippine endemic, male) MT. MAKILING, LAGUNA, June 10, 2009 5D2 + Sigmonster, 800 mm, 1/4 sec, f/9, ISO 640, manual exposure in available light, 475B/3421 support And a photo of a micro-raptor to accompany the lone SWKF in my gallery: Philippine Falconet ( Microhierax erythrogenys, a Philippine endemic) MT. MAKILING, LAGUNA, June 10, 2009 Video grab - 5D2 + Sigmonster (Sigma 300-800 DG) + Canon 2x TC, 1600 mm, f/18, 1/60 sec, ISO 200, 475B/3421 support

Wow, what a shot. If this was tough for you, does it mean its almost impossible for us. Great shot by an expert photographer. I have learned another lesson from you. Thank you. Well done. Mabuhay.

You have captured the pensive character of the SWKF. Is this what you call shooting 2 birds with one great gear? The skill is evident. telyds
