The bird is just steps away from the trail going to the cave entrance. Most visitors can easily find the bird or the guide will show them bird. Its just a short trip but its really nice when i saw the nesting frogmount.
Planning to go out next to Mt Timolan in Pagadian City for a short bird survey with friends. Hope we can get more Mindanao endemics this time.

I never thought I will see a bird looking like that. The name speaks for itself. I guess if you put feathers on a frog it would look something like that. Only God can make a bird look as good as that. Thank you Godo for sharing your beautiful picture with us. Mabuhay.

PS. You should visit Hely Asoy of the Paro-parung Bukid Nature Conservation Center in Babatnon, Leyte. The birds in her area needs to be surveyed. I am sure she will contact you soon. telyds

TeLyds were are planning to visit Leyte and Samar soon to look for the Miniature Tit-Babler and other Samar and Leyte endemics this year or early next year. Sir Bobby is also planning to go somewhere in Leyte this July for a short visit. We will also visit Mt Timolan (Sugarloaf Mt Timolan IBA) this week to look for some Mindanao endemics.
