Went with kids, kids'cousins, and in laws to HK last week and, because I wanted to focus time to family (not birding!), brought only my wide-angle and "short" zoom. But there were lots of (I think) eagles soaring about buildings. And, in Ocean Park, there were more than 20 darting about and since my relatives all know my (heretofore suppressed) passion, they kept shouting at me to shoot them! Had to oblige. But, I don't know what birds they were. Can anyone ID? Shot with a 17-85mm lens:

I noticed that too in HK especially in the Aberdeen Fishing Village area. Got lots of these raptors hovering and at close range. Seems the birds there have adapted well to the urbanized environment and I wonder why it is not happening in Metro Manla. One thing very noticeable though in HK is that there are lots of patches of greeneries (trees and gardens) unlike Metro Manila.

Thanks, guys. Black Kite was also my guess but, since this is in HK, was not too sure.

Black Kites are known to perform aerobatics during courtship.....they are conspicuous in and around Victoria Harbour and Hong Kong Island all year round....
