thanks for the very warm re-welcome guys. on the contrary, really havent had much time to shoot. i miss all of you and our feathered friends so much. the 2 shots above were all "stolen moments". the oriole was shot right in front of the hotel we normally stay at. they wake me up each morning tweeting "take pics of me, take pics of me"....hahaha! the htoel is close by xtremely xpresso. so after i took a pic of the oriole, the "blood rush" was there and had to chance by my favorite birding spot in subic before i went home after my anvaya inspection. initially was really down as the spot was silent. after staying for close to 45 minutes, decided to head back empty-handed but the sudden shrill of the pecker made me bacltrack. amazingly, i saw close to 6 of these peckers in spot but they were all hidden in the canopy with he sun at the background. then i heard the customary pecking on another tree and was gifted by this shot.

WOW.. this, is arguably just as important as the exif/shooting details. Whenever I post an image, I post to share the experience.. and this is a veeeeery nice description of the events. If boss manny will allow, I will (do my best to) post like this from now on (exif nga nalilimutan ko pa minsan) ;D
