OH MY GOSH !!! <--- I think I raped those words already from too much use during this sortie ;D HeHEheHHEhehehe. The Sierra Madre mountain is teeming with so MANY wonderful birds. So many sounds that you wouldn't know which direction to face anymore to look for the birds <--- of course you have to pray that you are blessed with wonderful weather and that you are lucky on the day/days that you will be birding there. This birding area is such a delight but be warned: The road conditions are really BAD and it gets worst when you pass the Aurora Marker at the top of the mountain. Get ready to be tossed and shaken in your car ;D You will definitely need a good massage when you get back to Manila ;D ;D ;D Elegant Tit40D + 400mm f/5.6L ; ISO 800 ; f/6.3 ; 1/160 ; tripod Yellowish White-Eye40D + 400mm f/5.6L ; ISO 800 ; f/6.3 ; 1/160 ; tripod Black Naped MonarchMale40D + 400mm f/5.6L ; ISO 1000 ; f/5.6 ; 1/20 ; tripod Female40D + 400mm f/5.6L ; ISO 1000 ; f/5.6 ; 1/50 ; tripod Sierra Madre Gallery <-- not yet complete coz we took so many pictures.

Huwaw! Your passion shows and you delightfully flaunt it with these fantastic captures. You make us LCD watchers swoon and rave and be moved to take action to protect the remnants of our beautiful forests. Take action... are you with me guys??? Bird photography is a very effective tool to make people know, appreciate and care for God's creation. There has to be a bigger audience for these beuatiful photos, not just in the forum. telyds

Nice set of pics Tina. I especially liked the female BNM.
Lots of moss on that nest. Interesting. It looks like such an old nest.
